Dr Nitish Jhawar talked about #LASER in #Proctology as guest speaker at a CME organized by IMA Navi Mumbai . LASER has beneficial role in proctology for nonsurgical treatment of piles, fistula, fissure and pilonidal sinus. It is quick, simple, safe and painless procedure which requires very short stay in hospital. Most important is proper patient selection. Dr Jhawar has done number of successful laser surgeries in Navi Mumbai/Mumbai.

Now Proctology and colorectal surgeon is recognized filed in India as they deal with issues and diseases of anal and large intestine area such as constipation, incontinence, anal itching, burning and pain, bleeding per rectum/stool, piles, fistula, fissure, pilonidal sinus, abscess, rectal prolapse etc. LASER has revolutionized the treatment of many anal conditions including painless piles, fissure and fistula treatment.
